-Your Growth Guide-

I spend my days coaching, leading workshops and meditations, traveling, and hanging out with the world’s greatest friends and family. No surprise- many of my people are neuro-divergent and/or struggle with executive functioning. The desire to skillfully parent my two (now young adult) children and many of their dear friends has been the main motivation for my own personal development and quest for tools and strategies for more skillfully navigating a world largely built by and for neurotypical people. Before starting Grounded Growth in 2019, I worked as a project manager, a parent educator, and in elementary education.

My meditation teacher journey started in 1998 when I went on my first retreat in Thailand, but my passion for sharing meditation was sparked by my encounter with Parts Work meditation from the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model 20 years later. In 2018, I began working with my primary teacher, Ralph De La Rosa, in a trauma-informed meditation format that combines Parts Work (IFS), Tibetan Buddhism, and modern neuroscience. I am excited to bring this model to the neuro-spicy community.

I have been deeply curious about people for as long as I can remember. At a young age I would tirelessly question anyone in reach about their innermost thoughts, frustrations, and joys. Over the years I have found myself maintaining this open and curious space for people in times of challenge. In this space I have found that self-awareness and self-acceptance arise, allowing us to make choices and set goals from a more authentic and energized place. It is my honor and great joy to widen my circle of influence and guide people like you through Grounded Growth processes. I truly love my job!

The belief that peace, joy, and freedom are the birthright of everyone- no exceptions- guides my practice. I enjoy working in my community for environmental and social justice. Both my B.A. and M.A. are in Human Geography and I remain fascinated by the dialectic between people and place at all scales. I am a certified life coach, certified ADHD parenting coach, certified Amplify Meditation teacher, and member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the ADHD Coaches Organization, and the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA).

Born and raised under the big skies of Texas, I have lived in Austria, Bali, New Zealand, and all over the USA- even Guam! I am currently based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
